On World Lupus Day, we came together across all our Home to School sites and hospital transport teams to raise awareness and vital funds for those affected by Lupus, an often invisible yet deeply challenging autoimmune disease.
This year, our efforts were especially meaningful as we dedicated the day to Marie, the beloved sister of Bernadette, who sadly passed away due to complications from this devastating condition. Marie’s strength, courage, and kindness continue to inspire us, and her memory lives on in every step we take to support others.
Across all sites, our teams showed incredible compassion and energy, hosting coffee mornings, bake sales, and fundraisers to shine a light on Lupus and support ongoing research and care. Whether by donating, baking, or simply showing up with a smile, every act of kindness made a difference. We raised a total of £800.
💜 To those at work and beyond who live with Lupus – we see you, we support you, and we stand with you.
💜 To Marie – you will always be remembered.
Thank you to everyone who took part and made this day one of unity, purpose, and heart.
