    URGENT - Taxi drivers / Private Hire - Birmingham

    Healthcare And Transport Services (HATS) Group is the leading provider of Home to School services in the UK and we now have new contracts in Birmingham and we need reliable drivers for regular routes.

    We need Home to School taxi drivers with 5,7 or 9-seater vehicles for school runs. You must be within easy reach of Birmingham and be able to do the morning and afternoon runs. We take a huge amount of pride in providing the same driver every morning and evening so you must be reliable and caring.

    The price for routes varies depending on distance and complexity.

    Drivers - Birmingham

    Healthcare And Transport Services (HATS) Group provides services for the transport of children and adults with special needs for the majority of the London Boroughs. HATS also provide high-quality non-emergency and high dependency patient transport services (PTS) to the NHS, Local Authorities and their associated bodies.

    Many of those entrusted to HATS care are vulnerable individuals including those with severe learning difficulties, moderate learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, complex needs, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties as well as mainstream.

    Transporting children with Special Needs and Disabilities in Luton during term time.

    D1 licence and CPC required

    25 hours per week / additional hours may be available / term time

    This is a Mon-Fri school term time position. Work requirements are aligned to the school academic year.

    You will need to be friendly and reliable ideally with experience of transporting SEN children. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

    Passenger Assistants - Birmingham

    Healthcare And Transport Services (HATS) Group provides services for the transport of children and adults with special needs for the majority of the London Boroughs and across the UK.     £9 per hour - 16 hours a week - school term time

    This is a great role for caring and supportive passenger assistants who can travel with children and adults and reassure and support them as they travel on our transport. Your role is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of transport users throughout the journey and handover. You will work with the driver to assist passengers to board and alight vehicles utilising appropriate means, including physically assisting passengers.

    We will need you to participate in working flexible hours with general core working hours being between 07.00 - 09.00 and 14.30 – 16.30. The service provider’s normal place of work on a day-to-day basis is in a predominately outdoor environment on vehicles that transport clients from and to various locations and is required to work in a safe and efficient manner in all weather, traffic and road conditions.

    You will need to apply for an enhanced DBS to carry out this role as it is working vulnerable children and adults.

    Ambulance Emergency Care Assistant (ECA)

    We are looking for FREC 4 qualified professionals, with a Level 3 Emergency Response Ambulance Driving qualification, to work from our site at St Georges Hospital site in London.

    You will be an experienced ECA with a minimum of 2 years’ experience with evidence of CPD and who is able to work closely with hospital teams and use your skills to support the team around you. You will be given support with CPD and help to continue to develop your skills.

    We need colleagues who can provide great care and support to all patients travelling with us. You will be caring and compassionate and have a great ability to talk to patients.

    Ambulance Care Assistants / Drivers - London & Manchester

    The role of an Ambulance Care Assistant (ACA) is to provide great care and support to all patients travelling with HATS. You will be caring and compassionate and have a great ability to talk to patients. If you enjoy being out and about, meeting and helping people and are committed to delivering a great patient experience then this is the role for you!


    You will be responsible for transporting patients to and from hospital appointments and ensuring they are safe and well cared for. You will be driving ambulances, so a driving licence is essential with no more than 3 points. It would be great if you have some experience of working in a caring environment but this is not essential as full accredited training will be given. You will need a clear enhanced DBS.

    All the training and uniform will be provided.

    We support the NHS every hour of every day and so we need people who can work at weekends as required.
