However, whilst our colleagues represent many diverse backgrounds, beliefs and cultures: they all share a common passion for people and the desire to provide excellent care and support for those who need some extra help and support.

There are many skills and behaviours that we look for in our HATS colleagues, but above all – is a passion for people and a desire to keep learning and developing, so that they are continually improving, learning and growing – that way they will continue to improve and also improve the levels of service and professionalism that we deliver through our services to our many customers, patients and passengers.
All HATS colleagues enjoy a bespoke induction upon joining and ongoing professional development and training to ensure that whatever their role they are always as well trained as possible. It is also expected that part of every HATS colleague’s DNA is to be helpful, adaptable, trusted and mindful of the impact that their actions and behaviours have on the resources that we all share.
