Our Commitment
-
We take a zero‑tolerance approach to abuse and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of those in our care.
-
We follow all statutory safeguarding responsibilities, including the Care Act 2014, the Children Act 1989/2004, and national safeguarding guidance.
-
We ensure all staff receive regular safeguarding training and understand their duty to recognise, report, and respond to concerns promptly.
-
We maintain robust safeguarding policies and procedures that promote a culture of vigilance and accountability.
-
We use safer recruitment practices to ensure staff and volunteers are suitable to work with vulnerable adults and children.
-
We work in partnership with local authorities, safeguarding boards, health professionals, and other agencies to protect those at risk.
-
We empower individuals, respecting their dignity, rights, and choices, and ensuring their voice is central to all safeguarding decisions.
