Pakistan is currently facing deadly flooding which around 33 million people have been affected by. Hundreds of thousands of homes, public health facilities, water systems and schools have been destroyed or damaged. Young children are being exposed to a wide range of new flood-related risks and hazards, including damaged buildings and drowning in floodwaters.
Aleena Azam, our H2S controller organised cakes to sell to raise funds for those affected in Pakistan. She has amazingly raised a total of £5,800 which will be spent on food, clothes and medical needs. We have also managed to donate the cakes to Haven House Children’s Hospice, St Joseph’s Hospice and Parker Day Care Centre (Dementia).
