In November, we had the wonderful opportunity to join the ‘Friends of Bishop’s Park’ in their commendable efforts to maintain the beauty of our local park. The primary task for the day was litter picking, a seemingly simple yet incredibly important activity that often goes unnoticed. Litter picking is an essential part of maintaining the cleanliness and health of our natural spaces, and it carries numerous benefits for both the environment and the community. A well-maintained park is more likely to be preserved for future generations to enjoy. Our efforts today can contribute to the long-term sustainability of our green spaces.
