In August, HATS had the privilege of transporting 38 members from Beyond Sight loss to Lavender Garden. The group, made up of partially sighted individuals, loves going on outings but often faces challenges with transport. HATS supports them with several trips each year, providing safe, stress-free travel and volunteers on hand to assist where needed.
At Lavender Garden, members enjoyed exploring the fields, experiencing the textures and scents, and taking in the vibrant blooms up close. It was a joyful day filled with laughter, discovery, and a chance to connect with nature in a safe and supportive environment.
