We were delighted to welcome students from Beckmead Park Academy and The Limes College to St George’s Hospital for an inspiring visit to learn about our work and the vital role of HATS.
Led by Sakah Sharif, the students explored patient transport and emergency care, while Gareth delivered an engaging session on our different types of ambulances, including the HDU and Mental Health units. They also had hands-on experience with key equipment and wrapped up the day with a fun quiz.
A big thank you to Sakah, Gareth, and the wider team, including David Cannon, Naeem Haque, Morgan Daly, Jhodie Fisher, and Isabelle N’Gusse, for making the day such a success!
This fantastic opportunity wouldn’t have been possible without our partnership with Ductu, who connect schools with real-world learning experiences. We look forward to many more partnerships.
