Once again, throughout April there were many selfless acts and many deserving efforts. The efforts and adaptability of everyone at HATS has been exceptional, during this most challenging period and has allowed us to continue to deliver for our many customers, patients and passengers.
Sonia Riffat Rehan and Greg Dixon from Patient Transport Services (PTS). Two HATS colleagues operating from St George’s Hospital who have been recognised and strongly commended for taking a patient to her radiotherapy appointments and providing her with “amazing” care and support during a particularly difficult time. Going above and beyond on many occasions – even assisting her to the bathroom etc. when the nurses did not find the time to be able to. This compassion and empathy has done nothing but show HATS and their support and service offered, in a truly professional light. Sonia and Greg even called back (post trip) to check on the patients progress and ensure everything was ok and that there was nothing else HATS or they could do.
Sunjiv Caloolessur and Keine Laviolette again from our Patient Transport Services (PTS) operation, have on many occasions gone above and beyond their duties helping a very busy Croydon University Hospital (CUH), ensuring that patients are well looked after. As well as sorting out any problems when they take a patient home – often working over their hours and never, ever complaining. A great crew and it’s a source of pride to have them at working for HATS out of Croydon University Hospital.
