Catastrophic Bleeding Control Training

Double Jab Boxing Club

The Double Jab Boxing Club was set up to support young people living in London who are more vulnerable to gangs and knife crime off the streets and into boxing gyms through their ongoing campaign ‘Jab don’t Stab’. The boxing provides young people with discipline, focus and an escape that will allow them to leave the gang life behind and teach them lessons that will serve them outside the ring.

Tragically, there was an altercation outside the venue a couple of weeks ago, where a young member of the boxing club lost his life due to a stab wound.

On the 18th of May, Fred Bain and Dave Small organised a ‘Catastrophic Bleeding Control’ course at the Double Jab Boxing Club. Their aim was to teach people how to stop bleeding from a stab wound and effectively control the bleeding until medical assistance arrives.
