Patient Transport Services
HATS have been providing Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS) for more than fifteen years and have been registered with the Care Quality Commission since 2011.
We deliver NEPTS at a number of London based NHS Trusts, CCGs, Mental Health Trusts and independent medical organisations.
Our NEPTS provision ranges from assistance for patients with limited mobility or those travelling in their own wheelchairs, through to provision of a carry chair for negotiating steps or stairs, stretchers, bariatric and low level High Dependency (SCBU, cardiac monitoring etc.).
HATS take great pride in providing transport for adults and children who would
otherwise be unable to attend their hospital appointments.
High quality, relevant training ensures that our Ambulance Care Assistants and Emergency Care Assistants are among the most competent and professional in the industry.
In 2017, the Care Quality Commission undertook an Announced Inspection of our Services, centring around the criteria:
Are they safe?
Are they effective?
Are they caring?
Are they responsive to people’s needs?
Are they well-led?
The excellent results of this inspection can be found here
